The Ministry of State Treasury has informed the public about choosing K&L Gates Jamka's counselling services in the process of selling Polski Holding Nieruchomości's shares.

At the beginning of 2013, the Ministry of State Treasury placed an order for the counselling services of a legal office concerning the sale of Polski Holding Nieruchomości shares, one of the largest entities in the commercial real estate sector in Poland. The most advantageous offer was presented by K&L Gates Jamka LP from Warsaw.

Other candidates who replied to the ministry’s announcement were: Linklaters C. Wiśniewski i Wspólnicy; Baker & McKenzie Krzyżowski i Wspólnicy; DLA Piper Wiater; Weil, Gotshal&Manges – Paweł Rymarz, and Greenberg Traurig Grzesiak.

K&L Gates is an international law firm positioned at strategic intersections in the global economy, offering its services in 48 offices worldwide. When in 2009 and 2010 K&L Gates’s total revenues amounted to over $1 billion, British Legal Business called it “one of the fastest growing legal practices on the Global 100 list”. The company represents both international corporations and smaller or developing enterprises. Moreover, it offers law services to the companies on capital markets and in the public sector; entrepreneurs from various industries; philanthropic organisations and natural persons.

The legal offices replying to the ministry’s announcement had to furnish a tender guarantee of 10,000 PLN.

On 13 February 2013, Polski Holding Nieruchomości made its debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The opening cost was 22.75 PLN per share. The first offer closed with the State Treasury selling 25% of all the shares in its possession. The offer’s value amounted to 238.6 PLN.

Being present among the companies ranked in the stock exchange main package means both prestige and great responsibility. We shall make every effort to consistently realise out company’s development strategy, develop our projects in the commercial real estate sector and meet the expectations of our shareholders. I believe that the investment in Polski Holding Nieruchomości’s shares will turn out to be a good business decision. I am convinced that the status of a stock exchange company and the increased transparency it entails will make Polski Holding Nieruchomości a better business partner. - commented Wojciech Papierak, president of the management board at Polski Holding Nieruchomości.
