In 2013, Globe Trade Centre rented almost 164 000 sq. m of office and commercial space on the area of CEE and SEE.

GTC informed about 31 per cent. increase in office and commercial space rented in 2013 in Central and Eastern Europe and South and Eastern Europe in comparison with the previous year. The company rented almost 164 000 sq. m of space. In Poland alone, GTC signed lease transactions for 44 900 sq. m of space.

The second largest market for the company was Hungary (35 500 sq. m), and the third – Romania (28 800 sq. m).

2013 was a very important year for GTC. We signed new contracts and extended lease agreements for over 160 000 sq. m of office and commercial space. Such a scale of business activity in the lease sector is a significant achievement of our company, commented Alain Ickovics, president of the management board of GTC S.A. In spite of pressure in the rental rates, which is still visible on some markets, our results in the entire region in 2013 show that the tenants appreciate the buildings by GTC and are not eager to give up the quality and location, which our company offers them, he added.

In Croatia, GTC rented 19 700 sq. m, in Serbia - 14 200 sq. m, in Bulgaria - 12 000 sq. m, in the Czech Republic - 7 500 sq. m and in Slovakia - 1 100 sq. m.
