"Power of Classics" at FOCUS

A series of concerts "Power of Classics" will be held at FOCUS in Warsaw on December 2, 2017.

A series of concerts "Power of Classics" will start on December 2, 2017, in the Warsaw’s office FOCUS lobby. The most popular works in the classical music canon will be presented during this event.

The concert will be conducted by Michał Klauza in collaboration with 250 artists of Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Academic Choir of the University of Warsaw, Choir of the Faculty of Physics of the University of Warsaw, Tibi Domine Choir, Choir of SWPS University, Warsaw Boys’ Choir at UMFC and soloists: Olga Pasiecznik – soprano, Krzysztof Kura – tenor and Konstantina Suchkova – baritone.

The concert will start with a cantata "Carmina Burana" by Carl Orff. This is one of the most recognizable musical works in Germany. It has been gaining in popularity since the 60-ties of the 20th c. and currently it is in the canon of classical music. The first performance of Carl Orff’s work was held in Oper Frankfurt on June, 8, 1937, Oscar Wälterlin's staging.

The series of concerts "Power of Classics" will start in FOCUS. This building is managed by the international Cushman & Wakefield consulting company. It is situated at Armii Ludowej 26 Avenue in Warsaw. In the neighborhood of FOCUS there are a metro station Pole Mokotowskie, tram line and numerous bus stations. The building delivers 32 000 sq. m of modern office space class A on 12 tiers. There are also parking spaces for ca. 400 vehicles on three underground floors. The designer of this building is APA Kuryłowicz & Associates.
