The official inauguration of Sky Tower, currently the highest residential-commercial complex in Poland, took place on 23rd May. Ph.D. Leszek Czarnecki symbolically cut the ribbon.

600 guests were invited to the inauguration, including celebrities such as Lech Wałęsa or Prof. Leszek Balcerowicz.

I’m glad that the capital of Lower Silesia has gained such a unique place. I hope that it will soon become one of the symbols of Wrocław. Sky Tower as an innovative investment fits perfectly in the image of the city, which is still developing and evoking a desire to become a business center of Central Europe,” said Ph.D. Leszek Czarnecki, the project initiator.

The inauguration was continued in The Wrocław Opera House, in which the participants had an occasion to watch a documentary about the construction of Sky Tower, and take part in a concert given by the Roma Sinfonietta Orchestra conducted by Ennio Morricone.

A three-storey retail park will be available for customers on 24th May. It will contain brand boutiques, in which also Polish designers will be able to present their collections in specially arranged boutiques.

The Sky Tower is located in the centre of Wrocław, in the surrounding of four streets: Powstańców Śląskich, Gwiaździsta, Wielka, and Szczęśliwa Street. The Sky Tower complex comprises the retail park and two residential and office buildings. The complex has a total of 171 thousand square meters. Residential space takes 20 thousand square meters, office space 28 thousand square meters, and retail space 25 thousand square meters.
