Even before the start of it's construction London's King's Cross office building, designed by Jean-Michael Wilmotte, falls into AXA Real Estate's hands through a ''forward funding'' type transaction. The investment being erected by BNP Paribas Real Estate Property will contain offices and commercial properties on 37 000 m2. King's Cross's construction begins later this year and is going to last till the fourth quarter of 2014. The building shall be commercialized in the next four months.
-The sale of BNP Paribas Real Estate's first project happened in an early stage of it's realization, even before it's construction has begun. The 11-storey King's Cross complex shall become our flagship on Isles and at the same time is a confirmation of plans and will to further develop BNP Paribas Real Estate in this country- explains Philippe Zivkovic, president of BNP Paribas Real Estate.
It's already known, taht a 50% of the building's rent area shall be occupied by BNP Paribas's subsidiaries, and BNP Paribas Real Estate intends to locate it's headquarters there. The building shall meet the highest standards, required for achieving a BREEAM certificate on „Excellent” level.
