Warsaw. The building's previous owner was Bertelsmann. Transaction's price has not been revealed.

Another deal on Warsaw's commercial property market. Previously, we have informed that the highest office building in this part of Europe, Warsaw Trade Tower, was avaible for purchase. In turn, MK8 company has bought an office building in Mokotów. Now a transaction has taken place in Ursynów. Warsaw's office building, Świat Książki publishing house's previous headquarters, situated in close vicinity of Kabaty metro station, is no longer Bertelsmann media concern's property.

The new owner of the 4 000 m2 building is a fund managed by Griffin Real Estate. Colliers International (currently world's third largest consulting company active on the property market, working through a network of over 520 offices in 62 countries) represented Bertelsmann company as it's exclusive agent.

It's also worth noting that it is an another investment of Griffin Group. At the end of year 2010 the company bought a 37-hectare lot near Park Natoliński in Warsaw, where an upper-class housing estate is going to be realized. A year later, in november 2011, Griffin Group executed an acquisition of seven lots with a total delelopment potential of 150 000 m2. At the beginning of this year, in january, Griffin became the owner of a Warsaw's Prima Court office building and in april it increased it's portfolio with an investment lot in Gdańsk. In turn, at the beginning of this month arrrived an information that the company is going to revitalize Hala Koszyki in Warsaw.
