Intel Technology Poland concluded a contract with Allcon Investment concerning purchase of the office complex ALLCON@park. Intel – the only tenant of the park – took over 5 offices included in the project under the contract. Cushman & Wakefield advised in the transaction on the occupier side.
ALLCON@park complex has been extending its size in order to develop the Intel brand in Poland – all laboratories and office space located in Gdańsk were realized in the formula called built-to-suit. Thus they are totally consistent with non-standard and high technological conditions applied by Intel all over the world. The purchase transaction of the office park in Gdańsk by such a renowned company confirms both quality of the project and investment attractiveness of the whole region – Sergiusz Gniadecki, Chairman of the Board of Allcon Investment, says.
ALLCON@park is situated at Słowackiego Street in Gdańsk in close proximity to the Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport and the ring road of Tricity. The total usable space of all 5 buildings amounts to about 27 000 sq. m whereas the area of the complex totals more than 72 000 sq. m. Intel Technology Poland has been operating in ALLCON@park since 1999, where there are currently around 1.9 thousand IT experts. One of the biggest and most important R&D centers of Intel in the world is located in the Gdańsk department.
Allcon Investment, Allcon Construction and Allcon Housing Estates belong to Allcon Group. The company specializes in office projects – own investment undertakings realized on commission of a client in the build-to-suit formula. At present – after sale of ALLCON@park – the portfolio of the company includes 4 from 5 buildings in the Łużycka Office Park complex in Gdynia commissioned in 2010. The total usable area of the park amounts to 42 000 sq. m whereas the office area – 22 500 sq. m. The adjacent office Łużycka Plus also belongs to the company and it offers 6000 sq. m of office space. The structure was realized in accordance with the principles of sustainable construction consistent with ecological certification of BREEAM.
