The new headquarter of the Vodafone Group in Düsseldorf is visible from a distance of several kilometers outside the city, and has become a landmark for visitors.

Oval, 19-storey skyscraper is the dominant of the new office complex belonging to the Vodafone Group, located in Düsseldorf. The image of investments is based on the spatial organization and the different functions of individual buildings. These elements, along with the design of facades, to emphasize the openness and innovation of the company.

Vodafone Campus consists of said tower and the adjacent, formed in the arc of the buildings. The architects from HPP Architekten have taken into account in the draft internal square and garden, which only in structural terms are contained completely. The courtyard is open to guests, which refers to the transparent nature of the business, like the glass structure of the shell of the building. Also noteworthy facades: their horizontal structure with a high volume aluminum fins serve as sun protection is characterized by a uniform appearance.

Vodafone has set the architects of one main purpose: to reflect the open character of the brand. This task is accomplished mainly by the facade systems. The designers decided to use products from Schüco. The shell of the tower and buildings A, B and C above the ground floor consists of 4512 modules with glass facade sunscreen neutral color. The shading care high volume breakers light with horizontal slats, which are made of perforated metal sheets. They are one of those items that give the building so distinctive design. The project also used solutions such as m.in .: tilt windows, mullion-transom facade at ground floor level guarantees burglar protection, sound insulation and good thermal insulation, as well as to guide the installation of special channels within the columns of the facade.

Inside the campus, surfaces allow for flexible arrangement and separation of the open space. Every day in building complex works to 5200 employees, functions here as a nursery, so the object requires specific solutions for fire safety provided by Schüco systems. In addition, all the doors have an Environmental Product Declaration, which affects your ability to obtain LEED certification for investment.
