A charitable action in a club in Warsaw

During the tournament of beach volleyball, taking place in one of clubs in Warsaw, companies from the commercial real estate trade collected a record amount - over 100 000 PLN for charity.

On 2nd August, the third edition of the Charitable Tournament of Beach Volleyball took place in the La Playa club. It was organized by Jones Lang LaSalle. About 500 specialists from commercial real estate trades (with their families) participated in the event and managed to collect 100 800 PLN. The collected means will be donated to two foundations: Przyjaciół Szpitala Dziecięcego Przy Litewskiej (Friends of Litewska Children’s Hospital) and Jasiek Meli’s Poza Horyzonty (Beyond Horizons). Owing to the fundraising, the purchase of surgical loupes will be co-funded, which will allow for the complicated surgeries to be carried out on infants, and the prostheses for the disabled will also be bought.

19 teams took part in the tournament itself (133 players), including : BNP Paribas Real Estate, Colliers, CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield, EC Harris, DTZ, ECI SA, Jones Lang LaSalle, Hochtief Development Poland, MGPA, Knight Frank, Millennium Logistic Parks, Panattoni Europe, Prologis, Polish Properties, Savills, SEGRO, Skanska or Link 4. The winning teams were Colliers (the 1st place), Polish Properties (the 2nd place) and Cushman & Wakefield (the 3rd place).

After the tournament, there was an afterparty, in which about 500 people participated: players, the media representatives, sponsors and guests. The media patronage was taken byEurobuild, The City and Warsaw Business Journal.
