ECO LHI invests on Chmielna again

A legally valid building permit has been issued, Wydano prawomocne pozwolenie na budowę. An office building will be constructed on one of the main streets in the centre of Warsaw.

Chmielna 25, another office investment manager by LHI, will adopt its name from the street on which it will be located. The building permit has been issued and the works will begin in autumn after the selection of a general contractor. The investor has applied for the LEED ecological certification in the Gold class.

The project has been designed by the BULANDA, MUCHA – Architekci design office. The Chmielna 25 building will be fitted into the existing building alignment. Its height will increase into the plot, which will not be visible from the perspective of a passer-by. The seven-storey office building will be divided into a service and commerce part (level -1 and ground floor) and the office space (floors one to six). The investment shall be commissioned in the second quarter of 2013 and will cost 80 million PLN. The building will be constructed with the implementation of the mining technology and slurry walls technique.

Chmielna 25 is LHI’s second property in this neighbourhood. As well as Nowy Dom Jabłkowskich, the company’s new investment is a part of their strategy to create unique architectural designs while caring for the social aspect of revitalization. The investors aim is to give new functions to the historic and well known buildings of Warsaw.
