Construction Works of GreenWings Offices Are Proceeding According to the Plan

Ground level of GreenWings has been finished.
The construction of ground level in the Warsaw office block GreenWings Offices has been completed.

On 23 April 2013 the construction of three underground storeys was completed as floor unit was located on the ground level. It means that from now on the construction of GreenWings Offices will be proceeding above the ground.

The office block, developed by OKRE Development, is situated on 17 Stycznia street in Warsaw, nearby Warsaw Chopin Airport. It has already received an interim certificate from BREEAM on the “Very Good” level, as the solutions used in the construction are ecological and energy-efficient. The building will offer 10,850 sq m on seven storeys.

The completion of construction is scheduled on April 2014. Tenants will be able to move in the building since 1 June 2014. The general constructor is CFE Polska, which has been carrying out the works according to the schedule.

3,500 cubic metres of concrete were used for the construction of the foundations. The architectural design is notable for unusually high amount of artistic concrete that is used. This material does not require further finishing works, but it has to meet the highest requirements concerning structure and uniformity of colour and the lack of any air bubbles.

Reaching the ground level is a significant moment for every company developing a huge construction. Ronnie Richardson, president of OKRE Development, comments: - This is a signal for everyone that construction works of GreenWings are proceeding fast, efficiently, and properly.
