The company Echo Investment submitted a new proposal concerning the controversial investment on Błonia in Cracow.

Echo Investment, the investor of the project at the site of the former Hotel Cracovia, presented a new proposal for development of this property. Instead of multi-functional building on Freda Street, which was to accommodate shops, cinema, art galleries, coffee houses, restaurants and Błonia Museum, administered by the city authorities, the company plans to build an office block.

The new proposal was presented by the company in the city council of Kraków. Services would complement the office functions of the building. In order for the investment to be implemented, it is necessary to introduce additional changes to the site development plan prepared by the Provincial Office for Spatial and Regional Planning.

The changes to the planning arrangements are to be the subject of further negotiations with the representatives of the city authorities. Now, the investor will prepare the design of the office investment, and the company will inform about the progress of work on the current basis.
