Horizon Plaza received a Very Good degree in Asset and also Excellent in Building Management categories. The strategy of certification was prepared by Colliers International consulting company which presented recommendation concerning introduction of improvements in the building, coordinated its implementation, and it was also responsible for supervision over compliance of documentation with BEEAM requirements.
During certification, we implemented a number of procedures aimed at optimization of conditions within the building. We paid special attention to quality of air and materials applied during adaptation works. An important award for Colliers, director of Horizon Plaza, is the second after the highest grade for the management of the building – comments Andrzej Gutowski from Colliers company, who coordinated the process of building’s certification.
Issue of the certificate would not be possible without an introduction of many solutions affected reduction of building’s negative impact on the environment. Toilets are equipped with water-thrifty solutions and flows were regulated so as to limit the water consumption. Furthermore, purchase policies promoting regional, low-energy and recyclable products were introduced. Eco-friendly, ecological cleaning products, in turn, are used in cleaning of the building. The high insolation level as well as localization were met with approval of BRE.
The Horizon Plaza complex is localized in Warsaw Mokotów and stands out by characteristic “waving” facade. It offers 35 000 sq. m of office space class A. Its occupiers may use an underground garage with almost 600 parking places. The proprietor of Horizon Plaza is Unilmmo: Global open fund, owned by Union Investment. Colliers International manages the building and Knight Frank company is responsible for commercialisation.
