CBRE: In Search Of Best Polish Office Projects

OFFICE SUPERSTAR 2018: Statuette for laureates
OFFICE SUPERSTAR 2018: Statuette for laureates
Anyone who thinks that their office constitutes a company's flagship may boast about it in the OFFICE SUPERSTAR 2018 competition. You may already submit a contest entry form!

According to the report Leesman Index "The Next 250k", nearly 90% of office employees declare that they do appreciate design of their interiors, where they can perform their tasks. For this reason, companies want their offices to be innovative and inspiring. CBRE has decided to find the most interesting examples of such office projects within the OFFICE SUPERSTAR 2018 competition. Companies and institutions may submit contest entry forms from May 8, 2018, till June 30, 2018, in 17 categories, including best conference space, social zone and co-working office.

We spend at least 1/3 of our day in the office so we would like it to be something more than just a work space. Employees want to combine homely design with innovative technological solutions so that they could be provided with work comfort, be more creative and spend more time in the office. In our competition, we're searching for such work spaces that can reconcile these two perspectives. We would like to build the awareness of the importance of interior design in the context of relations with employees. During last year’s edition, we noticed that there are many innovative office projects in Poland. Now it’s time to discover new, surprising and inspiring investments – says Natalia Wenzławska, Vice Director of Marketing and Communication at CBRE.

OFFICE SUPERSTAR promotes organizations that perceive their offices not only as work places but they also want to create a friendly and comfortable space for their employees. It shows current trends that determine the office market in different industries and distinguishes the innovative concepts that are tested in practice.

Any tenant or owner of office space (both small companies hiring several people and corporations occupying few floors in large office buildings) may participate in this competition. Anyone who would like to submit their office project may fill in a free contest entry form available on the website www.officesuperstar.pl. Office projects may be submitted in 17 categories:

  • 7 industries: financial, SSC/BPO, legal, consulting, technological, creative, logistic (office in warehouse);
  • 5 office locations: Tricity, Krakow, Wrocław, Łódź, Poznań;
  • 3 kinds of interiors: co-working office, social space, conference hall;
  • 2 kinds of implemented solutions: office wellness, innovations and technologies.

Any company may submit their office space in several categories.

Laureates will be selected by the independent jury consisting of experts in the field of properties, architecture, working environment, change management as well as design and futurology. The results will be announced at the beginning of October this year during the CBRE IDEA LAB gala and the winners will receive the title "OFFICE SUPERSTAR 2018" and the statuette in the form of levitating pot. What’s more, the distinguishing will be granted to architects and designers within every winning project.

OFFICE SUPERSTAR is organized for the second time. More than 100 Polish and international organizations took part in the first edition. The jury selected 11 office interiors (see more: Best Offices In Poland!).

This year’s edition is under the patronage of the Association of Polish Architects. Strategic partners are Grupa Nowy Styl and Philips Lighting, whereas partner – Devire.
