Are you an architecture student? You can win a trip to Dubai!

Armstrong company encourages students to participate in Green Buildings Award competition.

Students of architecture from all over the world can submit their projects to Green Buildings Award competition, organised by Armstrong company, by 7 October 2013. The general topic of the competition is "green building", and the main award – a trip to Dubai.

Students participating in the competition are to present their vision of modern sustainable development. They can select one most suitable category among the four ones offered by the organiser. Projects can be made in four categories: energy savings, waste management program, resource management and indoor air quality – explains Sylwia Rudnicka from Armstrong. All the projects will have to respect one fundamental parameter in the form of using one of Armstrong's products. Students can choose among others from ceiling panels and room dividers. They can take part in the competition both individually and in groups. Each participant may submit any number of projects, but they cannot have been implemented earlier on.

Prize-winners will be selected already in November. The best project will be chosen from the works in all categories. Prizes, diplomas and statuettes of the first edition of Armstrong Green Buildings Awards will be awarded during BATIMAT trade show in Paris, where the best projects will also be presented – adds Sylwia Rudnicka.

The event's organiser is Armstrong company, an international producer of suspended ceilings, in cooperation with architectural website Archi-Europe.com.
