A road to LEED

Poleczki Business Park 23, an office complex located in Warsaw, received from GBCI LEED CS Gold pre-certificates.

On May 23 Poleczki Business Park, an office complex located in Warsaw, received LEED CS Gold pre-certificates from GBCI. The process of certification is conducted by VvS|Architects&Consultants, which considers this event as a great success. The reason for this is that only Green Towers, Wroclaw that belongs to Skanska was awarded with this prize. Precertification is used only for developer buildings applying for the LEED certification.

LEED is a set of criteria necessary for certification of projects, which were constructed in accordance with principles of sustainable development. The aim of the system is to facilitate construction of buildings that have high performance and at the same time are environmentally safe Owner of an office building with the LEED Certification can be certain that the investment fulfils the most modern, worldwide requirements, which in turn means that such a building will influence well-being and health of its occupants.  

Green Building is becoming one of the more popular ways of investments’ implementation. Both owners as well as tenants of office buildings are fully aware of being part of the natural environment.
