The office in Warsaw, which was built at the end of the 1900s, was granted the BREEAM In-Use certificate at the Very Good level in the Asset Performance category. The certificate confirms the high standard of the building, application of modern technologies as well as very good long-term management policy. In spite of its age, WTT was granted a very good grade – it is not a frequent phenomenon to meet buildings maintained in such a good condition with a systematic care about their maintenance and meeting of environmental requirements – says Karolina Michalak, Project Manager, LEED AP of Sentient responsible for conducting the certification process.

WTT has been assessed under multi-criteria judgment concerning functioning of the building in its surrounding. Thanks to high grades in eight categories taken into account, the structure was granted the Very Good grade with the result of 63.1 per cent. This scoring system resulted from e.g. functional architectural project or good access to public communication.

Warsaw Trade Tower is an example of a classical and very well-designed and performed architecture. It is proved by the BREEAM In-Use certificate granted to the structure, which also constitutes an independent confirmation of management and operational effectiveness quality of the building. Additionally, it allows tenants to meet environmental requirements recorded in their strategies of social responsibility of the business. It is especially important for big tenants, who were obliged within international procedures to pro-ecological approaches – said Izabela Kapil, Vice President, Portfolio Management – Europe, HEITMAN, who performs a role of Asset Manager of WTT.

The 208-meter-high Warsaw Trade Tower skyscraper is situated at the crossroads of Towarowa and Chłodna Streets. The project of the building was devised in Wyszyński, Majewski, Hermanowicz and RTKL studios. The structure offers more than 42 000 sw. m of office space class A located on 39 floors. Jointly tenants will have 437 parking places in the underground as well as aboveground car parks at their disposal. The office is a headquarters of such companies as MSD, Mattel, Altkom, Azoty Group, American Express, BP and Dago.
