The turn of the year has brought a number of successes in sales and acquisitions to UBM. The Polish properties were sold for over 160 million euro.

UBM sold the Krakow Kotlarska office building to the Slovakian investor at the end of 2017. IAD Investments purchased this investment for ca. 30 million euro. whereas the Hamburg company – Warburg-HIH – purchased Pegaz in Wrocław for ca. 54 million euro this month. This is a building of the total leasable space amounting to 21 000 sq. m. Union Investment has purchased two hotels. The first of them – Holiday Inn Twarda – is situated in Warsaw. Its price will amount to ca. 41 million euro. The second one is Holiday Inn in Gdańsk, the completion of which is envisaged for spring 2019. The investment was sold for Union Investment within “forward sales” for ca. 38 million euro.

This new kind of cooperation between the UBM teams in Poland and Vienna as well as the team from the hotel industry means that we have managed to improve the sales volume by over 160 million euro in a very short time – says Peter Obernhuber, Member of the Board of UBM Poland.
