The telecommunications operator takes up ca. 13 000 sq. m in the building. The landlord is the investment fund Heitman European Property Partners IV, on whose behalf Heitman operates. During the transaction, the tenant was counselled by the company CBRE, and the landlord - by Cushman & Wakefield.
Marynarska Business Park is a complex consisting of four office blocks with the total rentable area of ca. 43 000 sq. m. The investment is located on Taśmowa Street 7. The construction of the building was finished in 2008. Last year, the complex was modernised - the common parts were updated, as well as the area outside the buildings. Even more, Marynarska Business Park was issued the ecological certificate BREEAM In-Use with the assessment Very Good.
Thanks to the modernisation and adjusting Marynarska Business Park to the BREEAM standards, our company decided to stay in the current location. Another thing which was not without importance was the fact that the complex in Mokotów is already associated with Netia, among others, thanks to the good exposure of the logo and the name of our building, Netia Tower, said Anna Wilk, the Manager of the Real Estate and Administration Department from Netia S.A.
Netia is one of the largest telecommunications operators in Poland. The company has ca. 14 000 of its own fiber-optic backbone networks and metropolitan networks, as well as several thousands of kilometres of telecommunication duct system.
We are glad that the company Netia, the largest tenant in the complex, decided to stay with us and extend the lease agreement. It is the proof that on the competitive office market in the capital city our complex is an attractive offer for the tenants, for whom the high quality and prestige of the building are important, as well as its good location, commented Izabela Kapil, Asset Manager Associate, Portfolio Management – Europe, Heitman.
Netia S.A. is a demanding customer, looking for the most modern solutions. The extension of the contract in Marynarska Business Park will enable the company to arrange the space in a new way and to implement new strategies in the workplace. We hope that both employees and customers of Netia will be very satisfied, pointed out Joanna Kalinowska, the deputy director in the office space department in CBRE. Netia rented also 4 000 sq. m in Wrocław, in the building West Forum. During the transaction, the counsellor was the company Savills.
The transaction required a multi-disciplinary approach from all parties involved. We are glad about the successfully completed re-negotiation process, summed up Bartosz Włodarski, Head of Landlord Representation Services National Office Agency, Cushman & Wakefield.
