A German industrial group is going to open Shared Services Center in the Olivia Six building in Gdańsk.

ThyssenKrupp rented 5000 sq. m in the Olivia Six office building which is owned by the Tricity Olivia Business Center complex. The ThyssenKrupp company is going to occupy four tiers – from eighth to eleventh floor – in the structure with the total area of nearly 18 000 sq. m. Moreover, the company is planning to open Shared Services Center in Gdańsk which is going to start its activity in the first half of this year. The tenant was represented by an international Cushman & Wakefield consulting company during the transaction.

 

The adequate amount of space for our developing Shared Services Center, perfect location, easy access from all directions and developed infrastructure with medical centers, commercial and sport structures located in close proximity – such criteria were supposed to be met by our target location. Olivia Business Center offers not only offices. We are really glad that we may move into that building – says Robert Góra, Chairman in Shared Services Center of the ThyssenKrupp Group in Gdańsk.

 

ThyssenKrupp is a German industrial company, the activity of which includes many different industries. At present, the company is building a new network under the brand Global Shared Services on a global scale within which new structures are currently being realized in Germany, Poland, Brazil, China and India. Gdańsk Shared Services Center is going to service corporation business processes, including finances, management of properties, administration of HR processes and accounting.

 

Gdańsk ThyssenKrupp office was designed by the Project Management Department of the Cushman & Wakefield company. It is supposed to create a friendly work environment and maintain high standards of ergonomics. Furthermore, a sound-proofing zone – so called work lounge – is going to be realized within the office. The stylistics of interiors will refer to technological character of the company and also to ecology. One will find there a combination of a natural veneer, moss and raw concrete.

 

The opening of ThyssenKrupp Shared Services Center in Olivia Business Center is a confirmation of increasing position of Gdańsk on the map of business centers in Europe and great conditions which are offered to global companies by Gdańsk. The area of Olivia Business Center will amount to 74 000 sq. m after the commission in the first half of 2015. Therefore, it will be the second largest office project in Poland. Except for modern office area, the OBC complex is going to offer i.a. 3 independent conference halls, entrepreneurship incubator with instant offices, nursery, kindergarten, chemist's, Medicover medical center, restaurant, Starbucks cafe, sushi bar, shop, hair salon, 3 banks, cash machine, Energa sales salon and notary. The Center has 1600 parking places, also free ones, and changing-rooms for bicyclists.
