The company owned by Grażyna Kulczyk – Fortis New Old Brewery – sold the Old Brewery in Poznań. The purchaser was Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (Deutsche AWM) Fund which invests on the real estate market for the Grundbesitz Europa Fund from Germany.

The company owned by Grażyna Kulczyk – Fortis New Old Brewery – sold the Old Brewery (Stary Browar) in Poznań. The purchaser was Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (Deutsche AWM) Fund which invests on the real estate market for the Grundbesitz Europa Fund from Germany. The value of the transaction amounted to ca. 290 million euro. The selling party in the transaction process was advised by experts from JLL. The participation in the sale process of such a unique structure as the Old Brewery was a great honor for us – says Agata Sekuła, Chairman in Department of Capital Markets of Commercial Properties in Central and Eastern Europe, JLL.

 

The Old Brewery – Center of Art and Business (Stary Browar – Centrum Sztuki i Biznesu) was founded in 2003. The building was realized in a place of the former postindustrial and architectural structure – the Brewery Huggerów. The investor of the project was Fortis owned by Grażyna Kulczyk. The Old Brewery is located in the center of Poznań at Półwiejska 42 Street. The building with the total size of 130 000 sq. m offers 47 000 sq. m of commercial area, 4750 sq. m of office area and 700 sq. m of event, exhibition and warehouse area. Moreover, the center has a car park with parking places for 1000 cars and its own park with the area of over 4 hectares.
