The first thing I would like to ask you about is the fundamental question: what is holistic space and how can we create it?

Holistically designed office can be characterized by the fact that all human needs concerning this place – functionality, care about the environment, health, sense of aesthetics, safety and mental comfort are satisfied in a sustainable manner. In order to create such space, we have to analyze the work environment as well as the hierarchy of needs for employees not only very thoroughly but also with a great deal of empathy.

What are some other reasons that Interbiuro attempts at knowing clients and understanding their mission before the commencement of works?

First and foremost, we want to know our client, their philosophy, profile of business activity, employees and their needs as well as expectations, so that they could be pleased with the final effect. We assist in formulation of some general project guidelines. If necessary, we also conduct some surveys and talks with employees in order to establish main goals of a given project.

Office design used to be associated with such activities as purchase of equipment, meeting all regulations concerning such places and focusing on a visual aspect (for instance, choosing furnishings in line with current furniture trends). However, this approach has started to change over time. Nowadays, it is much more holistic. What factors had a crucial impact on this change?

Care and solicitude for the employee. Employees are the greatest treasure of the company. It may sound like a cliché, but this phrase has recently gained importance. If your employees are treated as a treasure and your company deals with healthy relations, you can expect both financial results and commercial success.
