BSH Sprzęt Gospodarstwa Domowego Sp. z o.o., owing to the received permit, will be able to conduct business activity in Łódź SEZ. Within the new investment, the company is going to erect an office building at Wedmanowa Street in Łódź. It will hold a shared services centre, providing finance and accounting, IT and purchasing process related services (especially in data processing) for companies from BSH Group.
The comany is a daughter company of the international group BSH Bosch and Siemens Hausgerate Gmb H with its headqaurters in Munich. BSH is a leader in the European market of home appliances. It operates in Poland through two seats – the first one, the headqaurters, is located in Warsaw. The entity is responsible for marketing, domestic sale, logisitics, controlling and accountancy supervision. Production facilities and logistic centres have been located in Łódź and Bukowiec. The three factories are manufacturing such appliances as washing machines, dryers and dishwashers of such brands as Bosch, Siemens and Gaggeneau.
BSH Company has declared creating at least 20 new jobs by the end of December 2015 and maintaining the current employment on the level of 684 workers by the end of 2018. The company is also to bear capital expenditure on the level of minimum PLN 4,2 million by the end of 2015.
Since the beginning of Łódź Special Economic Zone 227 permits were granted, which resulted in investments worth PLN 10 million and 26 000 new jobs. In 2013 9 new permits have been granted in Łódź SEZ, owing to which PLN 247,2 million will be invested and 740 new posts will be created.
