Do you care about building green?

At the beginning of November Warsaw will host the third edition of international conference and exhibition Future4Build, organised under the slogan "Who cares about building green? You do!".

All the people interested in sustainable development will be able to exchange their experience and ideas during an international conference Future4Build. This innovative business platform will take place in Warsaw on 6 and 7 November 2013. The general subject of this year's edition will be supporting cities sustainable development in the light of 2014-2020 EU directives.

We want to initiate dialogue between stakeholders: architects, engineers, developers, ecologists, experts in development and implementation of modern, sustainable town-planning solutions and representatives of state institutions and local governments. By a healthy does of positive controversy we would like to invite responsible people to constructive discussion and action – explains Svetlana Robinson, Event Director Future4Build.

Participants will be able to exchange information concerning not only infrastructure, but also economic and social issues. In preparing the program and formula of Future4Build 2013 we focus on four aspects: environment, economy, society and heritage. Our aim is a comprehensive presentation of the concept of building green in the broadly defined economic context – says Svetlana Robinson.

Future4Build is a place of meeting for experts and important institutional partners. Former editions of the event were held under the auspices of i.a. the Mayor of Warsaw, the Ministry of Economy, Polish Association of Developers and The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). This year's partners are among others The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Buro Happold and Society of Polish Town Planners.

During the two days of Future4Build the participants will be able to take part in numerous discussion panels, presentations, debates and workshops. Among others, an architect and planner Guy Perry and an architect responisble for development of Sydney Opera – Marek Krawczyński will be present at the conference.

What will be the subject of Future4Build participants' discussions? Certainly, they will take up the topic of methods of sustainable town development, as well as planning town environment. Moreover, they will mention the reasons why tenants look for green office buildings, and issues which we do not know about passive construction yet. The subject of the confrence will be fulfilled with an attempt of a response to a question whether ecology pays off.

Future4Build is a CONFEX-type event, which means that it combines conference and exhibition. Participants, apart from discussions and workshops, will have an opportunity to visit fair trade, where the most modern, ecological technologies and innovative solutions for infrasturctural investments sectors will be presented. As a part of the fair trade, Innovative Product Award will be awarded again.

It is worth to emphasise also the social aspect of the event. For two days, one place will hold the most eminent and influencial representatives of investors, developers, architects, designers, tenants and producers, which will allow building business relations and exchanging experience.
