ECO Jasna 26 with BREEAM certification

Mermaid Properties decided to put into use the certification process in currently implemented and planned projects.

Mermaid Properties is implementing the BREEAM certifications for the revitalisation of kamienica (polish variation of a tenement house) at Jasna 26 St. The planning scheme of the are already being included during the  expansion  planning  phase. The building is going to aspire for the Very Good assessment. The company already posses experience associated with the environmental certification. In the Cross Point office building, Lodz The LEED scheme is being implemented. The second phase of the project was given the LEED CS (Core & Shell) gold certification.

The decision regarding implementation of the pro-ecologic technology was the natural consequence of the company’s strategy - says Lukasz Dolega, vice-chairman of Mermaid Properties. Our investments - class A office buildings are characterised by the highest standards of execution in which the presence of “green” solutions is a is going to be the added value for demanding lesse of this segment - adds Dolega.

The BREEAM and LEED are the multi-criteria assessment systems for the sustainable building, which take into account, among others, the comfort, energy efficiency and use of innovative solutions.

Jasna 26 is a historic tenement in the city centre of Warsaw, which, since March 2012, has been undergoing revitalisation process, which is going to end with its conversion into the A class office building. The investment is going to consist of six storeys with the total surface of 850 sq. m. each. The ground floor and the basement are going to be intended for service premises, which are going to have  350 sq. m. The office building is going to have 5500 sq. m. of net leasable space. The occupants are going to have the two-storey underground car park with 49 places at their disposal. The anchor lesse of Jasna 26 is Soltynski Kawcki & Slezak, a law firm, which is going to occupy 4650 sq. m. of surface. The expansion of the building is conducted in consultation with the law firm in order to fullill lessees needs.

The office building is going to be commissioned in the beginig of the fourth quarter of 2014. The general contractor of the investment is Mermaid Construction.
