The congestion on Wołoska Street is coming to an end

ZMID in Warsaw has invited bids for the construction of the new street and the reconstruction of the existing one on Wołoska Street.
The employees of the offices in the neighbourhood of Wołoska Street will finally be able to comfortably commute to work. Soon, the last stage of the widening of the street will begin.

Zarząd Miejskich Inwestycji Drogowych (Municipal Investments Management) in Warsaw has invited bids for the construction of the new street and the reconstruction of the old one on Wołoska Street. The construction works will include the 1200-metre long section from Racławicka to Konstruktorska Street.

The street will be widened to two roadways, three lanes each. Combined with the separate tram trackage, this solution will increase the capacity of the intersection between Wołoska Street and Racławicka, Odyńca and Woronicza Streets.

ZMID reassures the employees of the nearby offices and the inhabitants of Mokotów, that the planned constructions works will be carried out outside of the existing street, for the most part. If everything goes according to the schedule of the investment, the bottleneck near Mokotów office blocks will be eventually eliminated within 19 months from signing the agreement.
