Zbigniew Okonski (president of the board of Robyg SA) - the new president of the board of Polish Assosiation of Property Developers, has replaced Jaroslaw Szanajca, who had been on duty for last nine years.
The main goals, which I intend to pursue as the president of the board of Polish Association of Property Developers are: pursuing the facilitation of conducting business in this sector of economy as well as co-creation of a positive image of the industry that contributes greatly to the on-going changes in our country – said Zbigniew Okonski.
In the years 1998-2007 president Okonski was in Prokom Investments’ management, where he was dealing with real properties. He is also experienced in other sectors of economy, among others, he was the chairman of the supervisory board in BRE Bank. In the 90’s he was actively participating in political life, for this reason president Bronislaw Komorowski awarded him with Order of Polonia Restituta, for creation of democratic Poland.
