The year 2010 was the period of the best incomes for presidents of PBG, Polimeks and Mostostal-Export. Despite the decline in the company’s profits, salaries of presidents remained at a high level.
Last year the Head of supervision in Globe Trade Centre earned 986 000 PLN, while in 201 the foreign investment director in GTC was given salary that mounted to 1 900 000 PLN. GTC’s gross profit last year from operating expenses amounted to 96 700 000 Euro. President of Dom Development earned 1 700 000 PLN. Before January 2011 Polnord’s boss earned 1 840 000. In turn, Dariusz Blocher, president of Budimex, earned 1 400 000 PLN and additional 86 000 in form of shares – informs “Puls Biznesu”.
With reference to president of Budimex, wages and salaries of presidents should not be a simple commission on results. In his opinion, the board works much more in the worse period of the entire industry. However, worse results should not equal lower salaries for a president.
