Torus presented a project of the third stage of Alchemia complex on 2nd October this year. The event was also held to celebrate the opening of the investment's second stage. Another part of Alchemia – ARGON – will be a 14-tier (11 office and 2 underground) as well as the largest freestanding office in the region of the northern Poland which is going to offer almost 36 000 sq. m of office area and 2000 sq. m of commercial and service area. The third stage of Alchemia will certainly allow to develop unusual office area on our market within one freestanding building and one tier. It will be a new quality in the area of creating modern work environment – says Sławomir Gajewski, Chairman of Torus.
The name of the office – similar to earlier structures realized within the complex – will refer to a chemical element. The ARGON building will be realized on the plan of H letter which is going to provide perfect effectiveness in using the area and optimal lightning. The plan in the shape of the H letter was chosen as the most universal for this size of the building. It provides large office areas on one tier and enables flexibility in the area of division into smaller tenants – comments Piotr Steckiewicz from the APA Wojciechowski studio, a designer of the whole Alchemia complex.
The shape of the structure will be a full cuboid to the level of the third tier. It will refer to a common part characteristic for the first and second stage of the investment. The office will be located at the crossroads of Grunwaldzka Avenue and Kołobrzeska Street and its architectural distinguishing factor will be a „lighthouse” – elevation's corner from the crossroads without any metal elements and bolections. There will be an entrance hall to the office areas as well as associated services on the ground floor of the building. The car park will be situated on 4 levels – two underground and two aboveground ones. The planned commission of the investment is envisaged on the fourth quarter of 2017.
Alchemia is a multifunctional business complex which is being realized in 4 stages. The first of them – Aurum and Platinium buildings offering 16 700 sq. m of office area – were commissioned in December 2013. Among its tenants there are e.g. Gdańskie Wydawnictwo Oświatowe, Kemira, Dynatrace, Cognizant, Regus, MOL, Manpower or Grupa Progres. The second stage – Ferrum and Titanium structures with 21 000 sq. m – has been just opened and it is almost totally commercialized. E.g. State Street Bank, Alexander Mann Solutions and Wipro IT Services will locate their headquarters there.
