The laureate of this year's edition of the competition „Lower-Silesian Gryf – Economic Award” in the category of special achievements in the activity for development of Lower Silesia was Wrocław Technology Park (WTP). The chapter of the competition, composed of the biggest Polish economists, distingusihed WTP for its role in development and promotion of the region, number of new work places as well as implementation of initiatives aimed at integration of Lower Silesian entrepreneurs with institutions of business and social activities. Except for WTP, AB SA and Uzdrowisko Cieplice Sp. z o.o. – PGU Group were nominated to this award. It is a great honor for us. At present, over 200 companies are functioning in WTP, the great majority of which is present in the industry of high technologies. The development of Lower Silesia and enterprises functioning on its area is the most important for us. We realize that a strong position of the region perfectly translates itself into new investors, new companies and consequently – new work places. Moreover, Wrocław Technology Park received the „Forbes Diamond” award as well as distinction from the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development for „Innovative Business Environment Institution” or „Lower-Silesian Key to Success”.
Lower-Silesian Gryf is the most prestigious business and economic award in the region of Lower Silesia. A record-breaking number of applications was submitted this year for the XIIth edition of the competition. The organizers received over 200 applications in 8 categories. The awards were presented on 26th October during the Final Gala which was held in the National Forum of Music in Wrocław.
