A modern Ryanair IT center will start its business activity in the capital of Lower Silesia in August this year. It will be run by a daughter company of the Irish carrier – Travel Labs Poland. Around half a year of intensive cooperation between Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ) and Ryanair as well as strong position of Wroclaw on the European map of IT services decided about realization of this center in Poland – said Vice-Chairman of PaIiIZ Michal Dabrowski during the press conference of Ryanair in Wroclaw.

At present, the company is conducting recruitment of computer programmers. 90 people will be hired within such specializations as android developers, JavaScript engineer, net engineer, iOS developer or Data warehouse developer.

The decision of Ryanair arouses enthusiasm but at the same time it is not surprising. Great IT computer programmers and experience of advanced programmer services are our national specialty. Therefore, all who want to "fly high" come to Poland. We are one of the most mature markets of modern services for business in the world and BSS sector, which hires more than 150 thousand people, is the most rapidly developing segment of economy – said Michal Dabrowski.

According to Director of Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency Lukasz Czajkowski, this project will turn out to be a big success, also for the capital of Lower Silesia. We are convinced that the launching of Travel Labs Poland in Wroclaw will enhance the position of the city confirming its innovative character – pointed out Lukasz Czajkowski.

Eddie Wilson, Member of the Board of Ryanair for personal issues claims that the company is planning new investments in the city. Ryanair is going to double the number of clients within the nearest 8 years and thus we hope that it is not our last investment in Wroclaw – said Eddie Wilson.

Ryanair also established cooperation with Wroclaw University of Technology, within which the best students of the university will participate in the vocational training.
