3M develops its business activity in Poland

3M launched another investment on the market in Wrocław which will service 52 countries in the whole EMEA region.

3M launched another investment on the market in Wrocław – Shared Services Center, which will service 52 countries in the whole EMEA region. The American giant, which has been operating in Poland for 25 years, invested 0.5 billion dollars in the domestic market, including 300 million dollars for the capital of Lower Silesia.

 

In Poland, the concern concentrates its business activity on developing most advanced production processes which require science, research and service base. Wrocław became the Polish center of the advanced 3M processes. We contributed to opening of Superhub in the capital of Lower Silesia, that is the most quickly developing 3M production center in the world – says Rafał Olejniczak, General Manager of 3M Global Service Center, EMEA. 

 

3M Research and Development Center has been operating in Wrocław for more than 10 years, whereas Innovation Center – since 2013. At present, Shared Services Center joined these two centers and it will offer around 400 work places to highly qualified people responsible for financial, shopping, personnel, IT, safety or base management processes. The center is one of three biggest units of this concern all over the world. PAIiIZ supported implementation of three Polish investment projects of the company: production, research and from the BSS sector.
