Signing a contract between Krakow Technology Park and General Building Enterprise SKOBUD took place on 7th December in the headquarters of KTP (Krakow Technology Park). It means a start of the second stage of building Małopolska Information Technology Park (MPTI).
Contractor received 9 months to execute works such as finishing of the building, preparing the structure for creating in it information laboratories as well as modern coaching and conferential rooms - says Wiesława Kornaś-Kita, Board President of Krakow Technology Park.
MPTI is the major investment of Krakow Technology Park. It is located in Pychowice and has to be a development centre of new ideas and technologies. Małopolska Information Technology Park will make available for companies from ICT sector i.a. office spaces, laboratories, cloud computing services and consulting services and coaching.
Small and large companies can establish its central office in MPTI. World brands will teach know-how, however scientists and experts from AGH University of Science and Technology, Jagiellonian University, Cracow University of Technology offered an intellectual support. Within MPTI platform, a possible cooperation with administration of local-government and government.
Total costs of investment will estimate 108 765 952,13 zł, where 89 465 489,00 zł will be a qualification cost of project. Investment is being executed from means of European Regional Development Fund within Operational Programme - Innovative Economy.
