The reconstruction of the warehouse at 13A Polska Street in Gdynia, which currently serves as an office building for Port of Gdynia Authority S.A., has been completed.

The reconstruction of 6-storey warehouse at 13A Polska Street in Gdynia, known to the residents as Posti building, lasted a year and a half. Currently, the building, due to Port of Gdynia Authority's operations, offers the modern usable area of 9 000 m2. The investment costed PLN 23 million gross, its general contractor was Mostostal company, and the design was made in Kenton design office. During contractor-selecting proceedings, 9 offers were sumbitted, out of which the offer of Mostostal Warszawa S.A. was chosen. The contract was signed on the 31st October 2011.

The warehouse-office building was constructed in 1959, serving as a seat of Trading and Manufacturing Enterprise "POSTI" S.A. A new block of the building and convenient transport links with downtown Gdynia, with A1 motorway and Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport, aroused a huge interest in the building. 80 per cent of the building's area has already been leased. The Maritime School, until now located within Dalmar, will be situated on the ground floor and first floor. Other tenants are mainly from transport and shipping sector, i.a. Polska Zjednoczona Korporacja Bałtycka Sp. z o.o., belonging to French Group CMA CGM. The occupants will have at their disposal a parking lot with 190 parking places and 80 bike places.

The building is the second one, after an office building at 31 Janka Wiśniewskiego commissioned in June 2008, which enriches the offer of Port of Gdynia Authority as regards modern office spaces.

In 2012 capital investments of Port of Gdynia Authority amounted to more than PLN 62 million. In the years 2013-2015 PGA is going to allocate another PLN 736 million for infrastructure investments, suprastructure and capitalized purchases.
