European Union is going to fund half of the project

Lubelskie Centrum Konferencyjne received dotation from the UE. The local government is going to receive nearly 45 M. PLN.

The local government of Lublin Province (Voivodeship) is going to receive a funding from the EU.

According to “Dziennik Wschodni” the agreement under which the EU will finance half of the 89 M PLN needed for the construction of Lubelskie Centrum Konferencyjne was signed on August 24. 

Province government announced that the substitute investor has been chosen and the call for tenders has been issued. Companies can submit tender bids to October 5. If the procedure proceeds smoothly then the construction works could begin in November. The investment is scheduled to be completed in 2013.

The LCK building, which is going to be located between Grottgera ST. and Racławickie Ave., is going to be adapted for the largest conferences, seminars, congresses and exhibitions. Such upcoming investments as the new headquarter of Urząd Marszałkowski, a private office building and Centrum Spotkań Kultur are going to be located in the vicinity.
