Opera Office won the Silver Drill.

In organized by Bosch Platinum Drill competition in the category of commercial construction the price went to the Opera Office building.

The seventeenth edition of Platinum Drill organized by Bosh has already ended up. One of the awarded is the boutique office building, built by Euro Style company in Gdańsk – Opera Office.

The aim of the competition is to identify buildings that are of the highest quality of implementation and of design and the one that use latest materials and technologies. The jury evaluates also the energy efficiency of the building as well as timely delivery and environmentally –friendly solutions.


This year's edition has encouraged to join 40 companies from the whole  Poland. They competed in five categories-housing, commercial construction, public buildings, reconstruction, modernization and engineering and industrial buildings. In the category commercial construction the Sliver Drill went to Opera Office building.


The building has 7,600 square metres and is located in Gdańsk in the neighborhood of Baltic Opera. It has officially been opened in August 2012 at since the very beginning it is fully leased. The architectural  project was designed in Architectural Studio Degutis . It adopts all necessary solutions for class A building, such as ventilation and air conditioning with central humidification, emergency power from a generator set, transitional UPC adapter, structural network of 6 categories, BMS system, access control and SSP system. Pro-ecological aspect was also taken into consideration in Opera Office building. The energy-efficient glass facade was installed there, as well as window shutters inside the building, energy-efficient lightning, energy-efficient solutions for lifts, sensors in bathrooms and bicycle storage with showers for cyclists.
