It is the second building within the Technopark Gliwice project which is supposed to perform a function of a business incubator. The structure will have 1000 sq. m of space. Just like other incubators, it will offer cheap office area intended for young entrepreneurs, consulting services, traineeships, evaluation, help in promotion and networking.
The first building of the business incubator, which is located at Konarskiego 18c Street, is already fully rented and thus the decision about building another one. The new structure will hold twenty companies, mainly from ICT industry. The attractive office area will be divided into segments with 20 and 40 sq. m. Moreover, there will be also four computer laboratories located on the area of the building.
The structure is being realized in accordance with the project of prof. Jerzy Witeczek. The general contractor is HB-Unibd SA, whereas KIMI Architekci studio from Gliwice is responsible for the arrangement of interiors. The completion of the works is planned on June 2015. The cost of the investment totals 4,7 million zlotys.
„Technopark Gliwice” Sp. z o.o. Science and Technology Park was founded in 2004 at the initiative of the city of Gliwice, Silesian University of Technology and Katowice Special Economic Zone. The main activity of the Park is establishment and promotion of innovative and modern technological companies as well as transfer of innovative technologies from the Silesian University of Technology and research and development units to small and medium enterprises sector.
