EQUATOR IV rises above ground

The Austrian developer’s investment project located at Aleje Jerozolimskie has entered the stage of above-ground construction. The general contractor Warbud is building the first floor of the Equator IV office building and will soon construct higher floors.

The complete outline of the Equator IV office building is already present at the construction site. This is owed to focused efforts including the installation of connections and underground infrastructure as well as diaphragm walls. The foundation slab is in place, as are the walls and RC pylons at the ground floor. The final works at the underground levels are underway to install ventilation shafts and fire dampers. Brick walls are rising. Harald Jeschek, Executive Partner of Karimpol Group, talks about the work: We are glad that the construction of the office building has entered a new phase so smoothly and efficiently that Equator IV is rising. We expect the building shell to be completed in the autumn. The spacious open interior of the investment project will be finished within a year.

Karimpol has already signed a lease agreement with the Zdrofit fitness club chain for 1 662 sq. m. at the Equator IV office building. The tenant will occupy the entire first and ground floor at the Austrian developer's emerging building located in the Ochota district in Warsaw. The opening of the Zdrofit fitness club is scheduled for July 1, 2018.

Equator IV will be completed within less than 12 months as the final addition to the Equator Office Park situated at Aleje Jerozolimiskie in Warsaw. The facility will boast 34,935 square meters of space, 14 floors above ground comprised of office space and technical zones, as well as 4 underground levels housing a multi-level car park with 226 parking spaces. It will have 7 elevators and 19,820 square meters of comfortable office space, commercial and service outlets, as well as a food-court. In addition, 78 bicycle racks and 40 parking spaces will be available outside the building.

Equator IV will be an A class office building, BREEAM certified as Very Good. The office space and the green areas will be fully accessible to persons with disabilities.
