Bayer decided to locate it's financial-accounting centre in Gdańsk in Olivia Business Centre (OBC) complex. The centre shall handle all Bayer's companies in Central and Western Europe, from Germany to Russia. Employment there shall be found mainly by specialists in the area of accounting, well versed in foreign languages.
- The availability of modern office buildings is, among with the knowledge of foreign languages and competence of graduates and professionals, one of the main reasons for selecting Trójmiasto as the centre's location. Choosing Olivia Business Centre is another milestone on the road to commencement of our operation. I'd like to gratefully emphasise that it is a fruit of several months' work, large share of which belonged to Jones Lang LaSalle and TPS -OBC developer's- teams. Currently we're concentrating on recruitation process – ultimately, we're planning to create over 200 new workplaces. Employment in SCG is a great chance to gain work experience in an international corporation with a globally recognized brand – says Remigiusz Wojciechowski, chief of Bayer Service Center Gdańsk.
The first stage of the new centre's organisation and employee recruitment will have finished by the end of the year. Ultimately, the company is going to occupy around 2 500m2 in the currently under construction Olivia Tower building. This month first employees shall temporarily occupy 400 m2 in Olivia Gat building.
