Globis office building in Poznań
DFDS company has leased 1,600 m2 of office space in Globis building in Poznań.

Globe Trade Centre S.A., the owner of Globis building in Poznań, has signed with DFDS Polska a lease contract for 1,600 m2 of space. The company will move into the building in autumn 2013. The contract was signed for 5 years. Colliers International acted as agent during the transaction.

DFDS is one of the biggest logistic and shipping companies in Europe, specialising in marine and land transportation. The company was founded in 1866 in Denmark. Currently it is operating on a majority of connections on the Baltic Sea and the North Sea. Additionally, it administers a logistic net, allowing for road and train transport in most of the European countries. In Poznań the company wants to create a financial centre, which will be the first DFDS branch in Poland. 150 people can look forward to working in there.

Thanks to a convenient localisation, well-developed public transport infrastructure and an access to educated human resources, Poznań is a very attractive place for the companies. In turn, GTC's experience in creating office spaces, meeting the needs of BPO centres, allowed to provide optimum work conditions for DFDS. We are happy that we have gained the trust of another European company, coming to Polish market – comments Jacek Wachowicz, Member of the Management Board and Lease and Sales Director in GTC S.A.

Poznań's Globis office building has been leased in 95 %. It is located in Poznań's centre, in the neighbourhood of Mercure hotel, Poznań Główny train station and the area of Poznań International Fair. The object offers 13,947 m2. DFDS will join such tenants as Arvato Polska, Comarch, BZ WBK, KPMG, GPD Advertising, Luxmed, PKO S.A., PTK Centertel and UWI Inwestycje.
