ECO Koku Sushi in Olivia Business Center

Interior of Koku Sushi in Olivia Business Centre
Olivia Business Centre
The first Koku Sushi restaurant in Gdańsk was opened in Olivia Business Center. The Japanese cuisine is another stationary gastronomic point in a business center in Oliwa district.

Koku Sushi restaurant is located on the ground floor of Olivia Gate B building, in which several dozen kinds of sushi and a dozen or so authorial sets are served to clients. The most subtle ones are given in wooden bridges or ships. Moreover, the local serves the biggest rolls in Gdańsk with the use of a special combination of seasonings used to spice the rice and the specialty of the restaurant – a coconut soup with prawns.

Me and my husband are sushi lovers and we wanted to open a local with Japanese cuisine. We have been searching for a place which is occupied by the whole year and at the same time which is not banal. At that time, my husband started to coming here for business meetings. The more he talked about this place, the more we were convinced that we would open our local in Olivia Business Center. After all, it is Oliwa district, everyone has it on their way – says the owner Monika Szlass about the beginnings of Gdańsk Koku Sushi. I know that working in a corporation sometimes means only a quarter for a lunch. Sushi is a food which is fast in preparation and healthy, tasty and easy in consumption. On the other hand, it is elegant and aesthetic – practically destined to accompany, for instance, business talks with contractors. I believe that sushi and business perfectly fit together – points outs M. Szlass.

The first Sushi Night was held in Koku Sushi in December, during which each person could taste all dishes for 45 minutes prepared by sushi masters after purchase of a voucher for 35 zlotys. The nearest edition of this event will be held on 9th April. In spring-summer season (from May till September, inclusive), there will be a Japanese sushi garden in front of the local.

We are very glad about presence of Koku Sushi on the area of Olivia Business Center – comments Adam Sikorski, Board Advisor in OBC. – This restaurant perfectly fitted in OBC with its modern decoration and friendly atmosphere. It is also a very important part of our conception of making Olivia Business Center the most comfortable work place in Tricity metropolis. It also brings about some benefits for all inhabitants of Tricity who have a functional business and service center at their disposal.
