Moniuszki Tower has a new owner

BPT Optima fund sold the office building in Warsaw to Catalyst Capital.

BPT Optima fund, managed by BPT sold the office building Moniuszki Tower. The new owner is the European group of companies Catalyst Capital. In the transaction BPT was advised by Jones Lang LaSalle and the purchaser by CBRE. The parties decided not to reveal any details about the purchase price.

Moniuszki Tower located in central Warsaw was built in 2002. It holds 11.6 th sq m and is  leased solely to Telekomunikacja Polska SA. In 2013, when the lessee moves to a new headquarters location the building will be modernized and commercialized.

The building will become an asset in the portfolio of the Catalyst European Property Fund. The investment reflects our trust in the strength of the Polish economy and points to our further plans in the commercial real estate market in Poland – said Kean Hird, partner at Catalyst Capital.
