A trend which is currently changing the Polish labor market is co-working. No wonder that there is more and more new co-working spaces in the whole country.

Another company which invests in the co-working network is Skanska. The company created Business Link which is supposed to be the largest network of this type in Europe and second in the world. There will be also ca. 12 new locations of Business Link of the total size from 45 to 50 000 sq. m in Central and Eastern Europe in the nearest years. It is the partnership of Skanska and Business Link which completes the developer’s offer by an innovative model of commercialization of office space which is especially popular among start-up community as well as small and medium enterprises. The offer of Business Link fits the global trend of the so called co-working 2.0. It is therefore a service which includes not only modern office space with chillout zones, kitchens, places for work in concentration or even climbing walls and saunas but also private offices for rent, conference rooms available 24/7 or elaborate acceleration programs.

As it follows from the above mentioned examples, co-working office is not only a place for work but it is also a much more broadly understood space. It is worth pointing out that one of the trends related to co-working is co-living. Work places combined with residential space are becoming more and more popular, especially among young entrepreneurs. Thanks to them, people can develop their business activity and co-create the society of people working in a given office even more efficiently. The example of such place is Clipster – a project by Gdańsk Entrepreneurship Incubator "STARTER". The inhabitants are provided with a furnished micro-apartment with a bathroom, toilet, minikitchen and access to laundry and car park for bicyclists. The offer of Clipster in Gdańsk includes co-working, co-living and co-creating, that is protection of a dedicated mentor and free training programs, workshops, etc.

Co-working offices are situated in many Polish cities. They are often established in modern office buildings, where freelancers, start-ups and representatives of freelance professions work eagerly. Work in such offices is very beneficial, not only in respect of savings. Except for work place, co-working space favors creativity and it is a place intended for exchanging experiences and knowledge. No wonder that co-working offices are developing more and more dynamically in Poland.
