Independent rating of the traditional channels of selling building materials

Customer service satisfaction, contact with an advisor, wider range of products, company-exclusive products, positive feelings about the transaction, information credibility - these are the advantages of the traditional distribution over the online channel. The key issue is to check whether the company meets the customer's expectations. A well-known method of Mystery Shopping may be of help here and indicate whether the customer's needs are met properly and what ought to be improved.

On the 11th of March 2014 the results of the Distributor of the Year 2014 Ranking will be announced. The Ranking of the Building Material Distributors is based on the Mystery Shopping method of research, conducted by the independent auditors from the ASM Market Research and Analysis Centre Ltd.

The programme of indicating the leaders of building materials distributors was created in order to support the sales processes, and to meet the needs of both customers and sellers. The ranking will include the companies which are active in the Polish market. The Mystery Shopping research will be conducted in the points of sale, indicated by the company that wants to be included in the ranking. There will be three independent audits in each category for every distributor.

  • wide range of products
  • friendly store
  • quickest service

 

The programme includes:

  • encouragement of sales processes, and collecting data about customer service satisfaction
  • providing a report for each of the distributors, with the analysis of weak and strong points of the customer service of a particular company, and indication of possible reforms
  • ranking of distributors, as well as awarding and distinguishing the winners in the specific market sectors and categories (the awards ceremony will take place during the International Building Fair BUDMA in March 2014)
  • wide-ranging information campaign about the research results
