Twitter has a ban to function in China from 2009. The authorities there are afraid that the American portal may be used to organize anti-government protests. Although the base of Twitter users increased by 23 per cent last month, the organization is struggling with a problem of decline in people having an account in the service. Moreover, the shares of the company in the New York Stock Exchange decreased by ca. 36 per cent this year and the revenues in the fourth quarter of 2014 may not meet minimal expectations. The enterprise does not hide that the falling interest in the portal and decreasing value of the organization are the main reasons of the expansion.
