Segro, British developer, which specializes in flexible business spaces, started an execution of logistic centre. A building will emerge on 13 ha area located in Katowice's SSE, only 22km from the city centre, and it is supposed to have 56 000sqm of high class business space.
The first stage of the investment will bring 15 000sqm of space designed as warehouses, offices and light production. Minimal module to be leased will start from 1 600sqm of space. The building has already a first leaseholder - pre-lease contract was signed by Navo PDG company. Specialist in distribution and logistic of FMCG products will lease 6 000sqm and in this way they will increase resource of leased space within logistic park SEGRO.
In the near future investor is planning an extension of existing logistic centre Tulipan Park Gliwice. The effect of another stage of the project will bring 18 000sqm of warehouse space, whence 13 500sqm is already leased. Leaseholders are General Motors and S&T companies.
