Olivia Business Centre in May 2015
A new office owned by Olivia Business Center in Gdańsk has been just commissioned. Therefore, the investment located in the Oliwa district became the second largest business and office center in Poland.

Olivia Six is the fifth stage of the center’s building. The name of the project results from a target set of offices. The building offers almost 78 000 sq. m located on 15 aboveground tiers (technical tier constitutes an additional floor), three-level underground garage with 264 parking places as well as commercial and service area on the ground floor. Olivia Six was designed in such a way to lower the exploitation costs borne by tenants. Moreover, in the office were applied such facilities as access control, air-conditioning, opened windows, computer and electric wiring, fire and heat detectors, lifted floors and suspended ceilings, floor coverings, fiber-optic links and partition walls.

The building of Olivia Six started in February 2014. The structure’s project was prepared by the BJK Architekci studio, whereas the contractor of a shell building was the Pekabex company. Olivia Six is the highest building of the complex. It architecturally differs from the other offices and thanks to applied illumination, the elevation stimulates the surroundings 24 hours a day and it has white-red colors during national holidays. We are admiring all people who managed to build this structure in such a short period. It was a difficult work to do – also in adverse atmospheric conditions. I am pleased to say that there were no dangerous situations at the construction site of Olivia Six – says Jerzy Oskroba, Director of Olivia Business Center.

The investor has already signed several lease contracts. The German ThyssenKrupp concern is going to launch Shared Service Center in Olivia Six in June this year and even 700 people will find a job there. The headquarters of the company will occupy four tiers in the office – from eighth to eleventh floor. The buildings are important but talents are even more precious. There are a lot of them in our region and it is a great asset for investors. Therefore, we are working with universities and local authorities to make our city the best place to work and live. We are creating a special nationwide project in Gdańsk – a business district located in the very heart of the metropolis – comments Maciej Grabski, Director of Olivia Business Center.

Olivia Business Center is located in the center of the city – in the Oliwa district at Grunwaldzka Avenue, that is the main communication thoroughfare of Tricity. The complex has been systematically developing since 2010 – each year a new structure is commissioned. At present, the building permits concerning other two offices have been already issued. Moreover, a special winter garden is being realized on the patio. Except for modern offices, Olivia Business Center offers 3 conference halls, entrepreneurship incubator with offices of an instant office type, kindergarten, medical center, chemist’s, restaurant, café, barber’s and cosmetic salon, kiosk, 3 banks, cash dispenser, notarial office, Energa sales salon and point for charging of electric vehicles. The Center has a great number of parking places, including free ones and changing-rooms for bicyclists. Furthermore, there are various cultural and social events organized on the area of the structure and residents of OBC participate in sport contests.
