A ceremony of embedment a cornerstone under V. Offices was held on 17 October. Many guests participated in this event, including the partners of AFI Europe Poland and the representatives of the city of Krakow.
A special pod with the foundation act inside was embedded into the foundations of V. Offices. The documents were signed by: Avraham Barzilay, Chairman of the Board at AFI Europe N.V., Ariel Goldstein, Vice President of the Board and Financial Director at AFI Europe N.V., Nir Geva, Director for Legal Affairs at AFI Europe N.V., Sebastian Kieć, Chairman of the Board at AFI Europe Poland, Łukasz Koziana, Architect at Iliard Architectural Studio and Grzegorz Chudzik, Member of the Board at Warbud. Apart from the foundation act, the specially prepared pod was filled with a memorial photography, coins and issues of some local daily papers.
The name V. Offices reflects the solid of this building, whose shape reminds the letter “V”. What is more, it also refers to the main assumption of this investment which, from the beginning, consisted in being “very” in every respect: green solutions, location and flexibility of space – explains Sebastian Kieć, Director of AFI Europe Poland. We concentrate on large commercial and residential projects which represent the construction industry at the very high level. No matter of investment’s type, we always focus on functionality and comfort which are guaranteed to our users – adds Sebastian Kieć.
The commissioning of V. Offices is envisaged on Q1 2019. The building of V. Offices is being conducted very effectively and we will soon be able to admire a modern complex in all its magnificence. The building in a cornerstone is a special moment for us. V. Offices will certainly attract tenants as a highly recognizable office in the city center of Krakow. What are the characteristics of this new office building? It will deliver 24 700 sq. m of total leasable space. The building will have 6 aboveground tiers and two underground tiers. The ground floor of this investment will offer service space. The investors emphasize uniqueness of this project which is related to high standard and care about ecology. V. Offices received BREEAM certificate at the Outstanding level at the design stage. It is worth pointing out that such result as 90.57 per cent is the highest grade in Poland.
