The highest skyscraper in Europe were in flames

No one was killed in a fire that broke out yesterday in the building that is supposed to be the highest skyscraper in Europe.

Moscow's Federation Tower is to be the highest skyscraper in Europe. On Monday fire suddenly broke out on the building site an spread atop an under-construction facility The fire took a few floors in the building. Some materials were in fire at two storeys. Fire brigade was fighting with the fire at the height of hundreds of meters. Two helicopters were used in the rescue action.

The Moscow's Federation Tower was in fire for hours. Finally firefighters have put out the fire.

The completion of Europe's largest skyscraper will take place in few years. The builidng should rise  above other buildings in the special business zone of Moscow. The skyscraper has 300 m height. The the highest building in Europe will amount to 506 m at the top. Atop the building will be placed a TV aerial.

Although the skyscraper has not yet been completed, there have been already placed some offices on selected floors. All employees of the building were evacuated. During the rescue operation the building was insured by the police because the structure could collapse. Luckily no one was injured.

The under-construction building had some problems with construction supervisors last year. The contemporary contractor – Mirax Group, ensured then that there is no danger.

The fire looked very spectacular. and was visible from miles away

miejmy nadzieję, że finalnie budynek zostanie oddany do użytku, przydałby się prawdziwy drapacz chmur w tej części globu :)
