The Tricity edition of the BOSS Festival will be held in three places. Nineteen speakers will present themselves during these three days of this event. The list of partners includes i.a. four companies residing in Olivia Business Center in Gdańsk and OBC.
First and foremost, the Festival is addressed to students. The event will be a special occasion for all young people to listen to the lectures given by experts and discuss some topics concerning soft competences, management of projects, personal brand or motivation.
The events of the first day of the Festival will take place in the building of the Faculty of Social Science in the University of Gdańsk. The list of panelists will include a lot of people from different companies such as residents in Olivia Business Center – Peter Horsten (Goyello), Pierre-Olivier Monteil (Playsoft), Magdalena Barwicka (PwC) or Ewa Koruba (Hays Poland) – Jake Jephcott and Adam Sikorski from OBC and Małgorzata Mickiewicz from HR Studio.
Moreover, the next edition of Career Days will be held on 19th March on the area of the Faculty of Social Science in the University of Gdańsk. The organizer of the job fairs, traineeships and internships for students and graduates is AIESEC. The participants will have stalls of 24 companies and institutions at their disposal. The host of two another days of the BOSS Festival will be Olivia Business Center. The lectures will be given in Olivia Sky Club on Friday 20th March, whereas on 21th March – in Business Link Tricity which is located in the building of Olivia Gate.
It is the third year of the cooperation with SFBCC (Studenckie Forum Business Centre Club, BOSS organizer) at the Tricity edition of the BOSS Festival – says Adam Sikorski, Board Advisor in Olivia Business Center and also one of the panelists. – It is very important to share with knowledge and experience with students. The early development of competences which are required by employers as well as stimulation of entrepreneurship translate themselves into a strong development of the whole region. We are glad that many residents of OBC have the same views and they participate eagerly in initiatives aimed at students which are part of our Olivia Campus program – Sikorski adds.
